- Assignment 1:
- 9/2: email instructor, requesting placement on "ccm" mailing list
- Assignment 2:
- 9/15: Arrange a time with Bei Zhang to take the practical exam.
- Assignment 3, 9/18:
- Read the "Getting Started with Logic" manual
- Record four tracks of MIDI into Logic. Use 4 seperate tracks of a piece at lest 25 measures long. Carefully edit your sequence to make it perfect.
- Orchestrate your sequence using any virtual instruments available in Logic.
- Assignment 4, 9/28:
- Re-orchestrate your sequence using any virtual instruments available in Logic or Reason. Customize your instruments to create a unique sound.
- Assignment 5, 10/5
- Begin work on your musique concrete project. Choose some sounds and begin experimenting with transforming them.
- Assignment 6, 11/2
- Complete your musique concrete project. Due Monday, November 23.
