Composition Seminar

 

Seminar is held each Thursday from 3:30pm-5:30pm
in Cohen-Davison Theater.
The Peabody community is welcome to attend!

 

Each year, Peabody brings in several eminent composers to give presentations in seminar. Previous years featured John Adams, David Lang, Thomas Ades, John Corigliano, Christopher Rouse, Jennifer Higdon and ASCAP's Frances Richard among others. This year promises to be no less star-studded. Plan to attend these, even if you are not enrolled in seminar. It is a good opportunity to meet major figures in the field, hear works of theirs which are not commercially available, hear fascinating anecdotes from their lives and careers, and accumulate bits of practical advice and general wisdom. Peabody faculty also make seminar presentations, and this is a good way to keep up with their most recent works.
